A Christmas Day Kerfufle

I am so excited this morning...

While I have been working on my humorous romantic novel, Pictures in the Sky, I have also continued to write short stories.

A Christmas Day Kerfuffle is the first story I have ever published. Even if no one ever buys it, I can now say that I am a 'published author' !

As you know, I like to take real life situations and embellish them to the hilt to show the funnier side of life. Kerfuffle is no exception. Laura's blooming relationship with new boyfriend, Ben, is going extremely well. So much so that she has invited him to brunch with her family on Christmas morning.

Will the ridiculous shenanigan that ensues send Ben running for the door, or is he made of sterner stuff than Laura realises?

Kerfuffle is a light-hearted short story that captures all the fun and stress of a Christmas morning with Laura and her family.

With a word-count of 4,040, it's just long enough to read with a cuppa and piece of Christmas cake.
